April 19, 2024 - Friday evening in bonneville. Opening one of the last bottles for the frenchies. Medium lemon color. Lemon, hay, red apple, slight touch of grand marnier. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, med flavor intensity and med finish. Ample mouth, subtle cream, acidity and citrus. Quite simple and a bit underwhelming. Believe it is time to drink. Disappointing QPR in my view.

August 29, 2021 - PnP, then drunk over three evenings.
Light yellow, clear. The nose is not particularly exuberant, but is fine, direct and elegant. White flowers, fruit (apple and a bit of pineapple). As it warms up in the glass even a light smoky note. On the palate it is direct too, but not simple, it has some nice complexity, in fact, and a nice balance between body and tension. Firm and noble. Very nice.

    October 11, 2019 - (Blind tasting)
Full, complex nose of oak, yellow orchard fruit, crushed stones, gun-powder and citrus. Very nice.
Medium-fullish body with high acidity. Oak, herbs, gun-powder, nuts, mineral and citrus freshness. Good grip and developed. Elegant and proper white Burg. More intensity needed for higher rating. But very good showing for level and vintage.

May 10, 2019 - Light rich yellow; fresh nose, apples, vanilla, very inviting; very tasteful, beautiful body with right level of acidity, rank rather than rich, really tasteful; excellent
