August 27, 2023 - Dinner with Tom & Deb Mortimer of Le Cadeau (COV, Edina, MN): Light gold color. Small pour over a few minutes. Really nice, citrus, long and powerful, but poised, nice reductive highlights. 93+pts.

August 8, 2023 - This was great with lemon custard, baked yellow apple and a ton of great material intact. With some coaxing you get a good base of limestone minerality, creme brulees and a dusting of brown spices. The palate is soft, creamy and resolved with integrated acidity that keeps the wine from being heavy whatsoever- it's interesting because our tasting group has had limited experience with the 2011 white burg vintage so it was great to be able to check in on this one. Going nowhere in a hurry. This was hitting all of the boxes and had a a real "fineness" that I don't associate with Corton Charlemagne. 95-96 points. Really great stuff.

June 7, 2023 - Part of all grand cru Burgundy tasting at Bymark. Second white wine of the night. Bright yellow. Forward apple, lemon and touch of peach and apricot. Palate is well delineated, but the acidity comes out on top in the end. I found that little distracting. Good, but not as enjoyable as the previous bottle of this wine about 2 years ago.
