May 29, 2017 - When you have a very high level wine tasting it’s really difficult to pinpoint the slightly less spectacular wines as the only thing that’s for sure is that they’re less great than 93-97 points wines.
This was obviously a very good good wine, but less complex, refined and long-lasting in taste than the 2012 ‘Eszter’ cuvee and way below the exceptional 2008 aszu. Maybe 89p?
Should taste on its own to have a clearer view but the ~70-80 EUR price tag surely prevents this happening on my own budget. I’m pretty sure this is not very good QPR.1 person found this helpful Comment -

The acidity is a bit separate now but ultimately lends freshness to the rich, sugary fruit in the wine. This will need a long time in bottle to develop secondary nut and spice notes. September 27, 2012 - Notes, stories, and photos from another great day tasting in Tokaj, Hungary (Tokaj, Hungary): The Aszú berries came in at 40.6 brix, and the wine finished at 10% alcohol and 224 grams/liter residual sugar. As seen at many wineries, they don't produce anything other than 6 Puttonyos for the Aszú wines, as they want to reserve all the Aszú berries for the top wine. The aromas offer rich honeycomb which is very delineated and nice, but there's not much other depth here. Richly texture, expressing soft star fruit, apricots, honey, and mild acid, with still feeling cloying. Coating finish, and excessively sweet feeling (again, not enough acid to balance it).
