November 17, 2012 - citrus/sauv blanc type nose and flavors . creamy mouthfeel but with a very slight awkward bitter component on the back end. The flavors were SB while the mouthfeel was chard. Nice wine but not profound

October 2, 2012 - At a tasting in San Diego September 2012, I tasted this right next to three grand cru Chardonnays. It was as complex and layered as any of them, slightly creamier in texture and just plain delicious. For a third of the price, the Francophiles are not fooling themselves, but they're spending far more for an almost identical wine. Mind you, I've only been drinking fine wines for 40 years ...
