  September 15, 2017 - Inky crimson. A nose of strawberry jam that's been outside in the sun for a bit. Medium bodied, dried raspberries, chocolate cherries, dirt, pepper, completely integrated tannins, good acid, smoke, and a sappy, medium to long finish. Drink up - its still good but not getting any better.

  A night later and it's more in balance. Nice wine. Still a little more ripe and raisined than I prefer, but delicious.
