June 6, 2015 - Full bodied, integrated tannins, supple fruit. Black fruit dominant, noticeably, black plum skins and black currant. Notes of fat and black olive, and lamb's skin. Very nice wine for the price- I think there is still some time left in the bottle as well, maybe 3-4 more years.

April 30, 2015 - Loved. Got better and better as we drank. Nose was absolute perfume. Balanced. Good legs. Dark. Drinking at its peak. Well worth the $26 I paid.

April 19, 2015 - Ready to drink. Tasty berry notes. Served with Thanksgiving menu.

October 21, 2014 - I thought this was a really good illustration of a cooler weather syrah! Definitely NOT one of those 15%+ bombs from Napa. (It clocks a 13.7% abv, by the way.)

This wine still exerted a strong backbone of well-balanced acidity and well-rounded tannins, but displayed pleasant notes of blueberries and jam, with a bit of tobacco and smoke in the finish.

This wine caught me by surprise. It exhibited strong, rustic aromas. It's definitely not a typical syrah, and I mean that in a very good way.

I bought this off of Last Call Wines and would immediately buy as much as I could again.

January 6, 2014 - Purple. Tart berry and black olives on the nose. Medium body, with some fruit and the black olives carry over to the palate. Medium tannins and finish. Not a lot of history with Syrahs, but I like this one. Good, but not great.
