January 19, 2022 - Purple color. Together structure and balanced with medium weight and dry sour cherries. Low tannin, with good flavor focus. Needed a few hours of decanting to come together. Was better the second night.

September 13, 2020 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like leather and forest floor. It tastes like meaty. The body is medium. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

April 23, 2020 - Wirkt kühl und frisch. Rote Beeren und fruchtig. Schlabbert sich gut weg :-)

May 22, 2017 - Life hack -> quality Blau w/ a little age can stand in for one's Northern Rhone jones.

March 15, 2017 - Quite purple on pouring.
Eucalyptus and plum on the nose.
Initially shows high acidity, but paired with pâté and an endive & fig salad it worked in great equilibrium.
    Tannins totally integrated.
Lovely velvety texture, redcurrant, & light chocolate from the oak. Good minerality too, with that acidity present till the finish.
A lovely cosseting wine that envelops you with its warmth.
