  January 21, 2023 - Still good and a bit more ready. Excellent generous flavour, quite mouthfilling and the tannin is mature and well integrated. I hope I have another bottle or two.

  October 4, 2021 - Good cork, little sediment. Colour suggests that it's nearly ready. Nose suggests a sound vintage and you can smell the aged tannin. Well balanced, tannin noticeable and well integrated. Lovely flavour. Possibly a bit "old fashioned" which suits me fine. To my taste , needs a couple of years more. This one stored underground since bought. I expect that the 1er crus will need a bit more age too.

That said, it is definitely restrained--I was tasting with JM de Champs and she said something like 'people don't understand burgundy that spends two years in barrel'. Great concentration. Fresh red fruit that is ripe but not too ripe. Sharks w laser beam acidity. Long finish, typical michelot firm tannins. Beautiful and totally age worthy although not super elegant.
