October 3, 2020 - Super smooth, elegant, & nuanced, but lacking the complexity, fruit, & garrigue I love in CdP.

July 5, 2020 - This is divine wine in a perfect place. Cnp the way I like it with complexity and richness without being overblown exaggerated or too much jest from the alcohol. Old school. Superb

November 10, 2019 - Aged well. Syrah punched through in nose & taste.

December 1, 2018 - A very fine balance and blend, making it quite easy to drink and appreciate. This was good at the pop and kept improving over the 4 or so hours open. Grenache-driven, but there’s a much wider spectrum on the palate reflecting the essence of CdP. 5+11+16+9= 91

March 25, 2017 - Quite lovely in its own way - very Pegau-like. Quite beautiful aromatics - sweet herbs and lavender are powerful and can be smelled before you even pick up the glass. In the mouth the predominant characteristic is sweet tar - Grenache sweetness and that lovely tar on the finish. Fruit is muted and all black with a strong minerality tending toward dirt. If I were fancier I might call it forest floor. The acidity is a bit prominent yet but only on the front-end. The wine is austere and broad-shouldered yet the finish is long and pleasant. Second day the wine is not as burly but not as interesting. Except the aromatics which are even more pronounced. Still a good wine.
