August 1, 2020 - I was worried about oxidation, but no worries. It was fantastic, balanced with a touch of richness and subtle sweetness. Fantastic!

November 17, 2019 - Lovely apricot flavours, delicately honeyed, mineral and a touch salty, nicely rounded and delicious, savory - pure joy with food.

December 5, 2017 - Tempier masterclass (Basement, 67 Pall Mall): Slightly creamy, acacia-scented nose, gently floral. Very round and smoth. Finely textured. Apparently it stays fresh for 3–4 weeks when opened. Nuanced and quite subtle, but lots here. Impressive. ****

September 4, 2017 - Full bodied, intense, minerally driven with some lemon zest back up. Needs food, probably peaking now, can't see getting any better.

October 5, 2015 - Terroir-istes International - France, Mediterranean Coast (Groot Constantia): (Tasted Blind): Mid yellow with a complex array of soft minerals, wet stones, hay, kumquats, creamed honey, greengage, prickly pear, and hints of mango.
The palate starts with a ripe white Galia melon and greengage overlain with a saline, almost fresh bready note and a savoury pullback that makes for complexity. A rasping acidity cuts through the juicier fruit; the tannin has a wet wool texture and a saline edge. Complex and long, this is approachable, delicious, and flows nicely along the palate. Blend of Clairette Blanche 60%, Ugni Blanc 18%, Bouboulenc and Marsanne
