Community Tasting Notes 15

May 26, 2024 - Had it after two Ruchottes Chambertin of Rousseau and Mugneret Gibourg, no problem, punching in the same class: Blackberries, salinity, earthy notes, pretty dense, elegant and interesting. A perfect Hermitage from the wise man from the hill.

June 25, 2023 - Blackberries, spices and a lot of meaty notes. Nicely structured with saline notes. This is a complete wine and a real beauty. Needs no decant.

March 31, 2023 - Blackberries, spices and after aeration a superbe salinity, meaty notes. Dry pure fruit, excellent.

March 16, 2023 - Mature Northern Rhone Syrah (at my home): opened 3 hours before
    deep ruby
rich, powerful, ripe dark cherries, plums, cranberries, pepper, eucalyptus, tar, mint, oak-vanilla, complex, long finish,
    excellent Hermitage.

27 hour after uncorking: the wine is still alive and powerful, no oxidation fatigue

May 23, 2022 - Black berries, spices, meaty, powerful and with a lot of elegance and purity, had this one after high ranking Burgundies, clearly on the same level. Decanted it for 5 hours, helpful!
