Community Tasting Notes 3

April 21, 2014 - On the nose, fresh dark fruit (blackberry, plum), hint of saline (perhaps element of tar or soy sauce), well-integrated alcohol.

Palette same as nose, though more prunish. Nutmeg and cloves. Detected low acidity. I found the wine to be unbalanced, midpalette went right into spicy finish. Mid week quaffer with a nice pulled pork dinner.
