Community Tasting Notes 5

February 14, 2016 - Simple but good. Nose a bit muted, but nice balance and great QPR. had next to a Rippon mature vines, which was superior (but also a lot more expensive). This wine likely would have rated higher without the benchmarking that we did.

March 11, 2014 - Rich and silky smooth. Black cherries and blackcurrants, with a hint of spice. A little hot from the 14% alcohol, particularly on the nose, but the intensity of the fruit balances it ok in the mouth. Easy drinking if a little basic, but excellent value for money (£11). I've been very impressed by Palliser before and this continues in a similar vain.

February 23, 2013 - Nice pinot, lots of red berries, but relatively ordinary.

October 13, 2012 - Lots of baking spices, black fruit, tar, long black bitter finish.
