September 19, 2020 - Whereas previously enjoyed bottles of this were decidedly advanced, I’m happy to say that this one was singing, with crisp apple and stone fruit notes in delicious tension with the wine’s minerality. Good acidity too.

September 2, 2019 - Surprisingly fresh at 8 yrs old, nose of lemon curd and damp sea breeze. Palate has a little RS, a bit tropical, citrus, and has put on some weight relative to younger versions. Finish is acidic and citrusy. No overt signs of oxidation in this bottle and I imagine will continue to drink well for a few years to come. 90-91

July 20, 2019 - Decidedly past peak at this point and fading fast, with little energy, some muted fruit and a metallic aftertaste.

    November 22, 2018 - marvelous wine

January 6, 2018 - Blind - I was sure it was Chardonnay although others were leaning Chenin. Regardless I was more comfortable that it was French. Second time I've done this with this wine. Dark golden so looks aged. Nose has a very distinct hemp aroma, that should have been a clue to LF. There's a mushroom quality. Excellent aromas which makes fun just to smell. The palate is soft, slick. Pear and nectarine fruit flavors with some Christmas spice. Fantastic finish. Just noticed I have a mag of this in the cellar, sweet.
