July 18, 2015 - Drank with dessert (cherry almond tart). Starts off very well with a mature nose of dark fruit. Similar in the mouth at first with assertive fruit balanced with good body, tannin and acid. However it drops off after the mid palate and offers very little finish. Some of us thought it was the perfect dessert compliment because it did not compete with the tart nor show off, but I could have used a stronger finish and more complexity in the late palate.
