September 30, 2018 - Massive but balanced. Great dark fruit with more than adequate juicy acidity. God pairing for braised beef short ribs on polenta sauced with braise reduction.

August 4, 2018 - And finally here we go ... Five years after I bought it, this heavy bottle still offers a lesson of monastrell essentials: strong aromas of a mixture of black and black berries well-integrated with wood and finishing with memories of figs.
On the palate showed a dried texture, high alcohol and long lingering finish.
Its walk down has began.
Denostated by some just because belongs to Artadi group. Pitiful.
Lamentable. -

January 16, 2018 - Recieved as a Christmas gift, and was curious if it still had some life in it....Like most Spanish wines this vino can age well! Amazing concentration and depth, with dark fruits, good body and softer tannins. Paired rather well with lamb shank and sweet potatoes.Yum! One one of Spains most underappreciated regions.

June 26, 2016 - Two hour decant, the nose consists of dark fruit and dark earth with the same carrying over to a palate that is edgy with acidity and on the opulent side, it comes across as slightly imbalanced but nonetheless quite tasty, with a medium mouthfeel and a longer finish.

May 26, 2014 - Weekly tasting group #119; A mixed set of red wines (@ BS): Extremely youthful bouquet with cherry yoghurt and blackberries. Same on the palate. Ripe red berry fruits as well, a firm amount of acidity and alcohol, mild tannin. I really would like to taste this wine around 2017 again. Possibly it is even more beautiful. 89+
