July 6, 2012 - Good wine, but a little too much oak on this bottle.

June 18, 2012 - Washington Wine Trip; 6/15/2012-6/19/2012: Tasting room pour. Approx 50% new oak on this Malbec. Blueberry and wet stones on the nose, also some smokey notes. On the palate, black cherry pit and charcoal notes initially, leading into a higher acid, fresher Malbec than I am used to from the limited Washington producers who even bottle this varietal. The tannins are very tight at this point, delivering a precise and mineral-infused med+ finish. Very nice, and I assume this will improve over the next 1-2 years and drink well for 4-6+ years thereafter. Bravo.

April 28, 2012 - Dark, black in glass. Plums and damsons on nose. Crisp tannins with juicy fruits on palate. Could wait a bit before opening this - or use Venturi
