June 30, 2014 - This is my second bottle of this wine and it did not perform as well as the first. Perhaps these have been sitting on the shelves at Trader Joe's for too long. Black fruit needs time to open up and there are some nice spice and earth notes to the wine, but this one felt out of balance and hot from the nose all the way through the finish.
