March 14, 2013 - Chianti Classico tasting- the black rooster crows at the dawn of a new age (Allerton Hotel, Chicago IL): Nose: This has a nice and savory quality on the nose with tones of red fruits, cherries, spice tones, and herbs.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and silky tannins. The tones of red fruits, licorice, cherries, and spice tones are well balanced and savory.
Overall: This was a very good chianti classico. It has a real nice and savory quality with decent depth as well.1 person found this helpful Comment
