June 16, 2020 - PnP, served slightly cooler than cellar temp. I'd say this is definitely long past its prime, but it was still holding on with some lemony notes and a nice touch of acidity on the palate. Went just fine with some spicy leftover Indian food on a weeknight.

July 28, 2017 - Post Golf Dinner w/Friends: Stone fruit on the nose and palate, but this particular bottle was on the decline and definitely past prime. Good but not great compared to previous bottles.

July 12, 2016 - Courtesy of TLV. Still drinking well with tropical fruit and soaring floral aromatics. Seems just a little fat through the finish.

February 13, 2016 - Amazingly youthful example showing peach blossom, citrus and fresh melon aromas. Tropical fruit on the palate with no signs of decline. Likely the exception rather than the rule.

August 28, 2015 - Pretty sure this is headed downward now as i notice the fruit slip sliding away. It does achieve moments of balance with the acidity and oak, but I still preferred the younger, fruity profile. Maybe it will go somewhere interesting with a few more years in the cellar, but I would err on the side of sooner, rather than later. 5+10+15+7= 87

(Maison Bleue Notre Vie Viognier Arthur's Vineyard Yakima Valley) An aromatically compelling wine with white peach, honeysuckle, cream, spice, and mineral notes. The palate is full and drawn out with a textured feel and crisp flavors with a pronounced spice and citrus filled finish. Retains an incredible sense of lightness while still displaying great depth. 100% Viognier. Sample provided by winery.
