March 25, 2023 - Needs an hour decant to let the overwhelming alcohol burn off. After that “okay+”

January 30, 2022 - A little over the hill, slight brown edge, medium body, dried red fruit, white pepper, soft elegant tannins. Still nice acidity

February 28, 2018 - Silky smooth CdP with aromas of liquorice, iron and ripe black and red fruit

March 19, 2015 - Dense but not fully open nose of spicy red fruit, meaty notes and mineral. Robust but not overpowering palate with notes of cracked pepper, white pepper, garrigue, dried berry fruit, cooked plum, ripe raspberries, dry stone and some dark floral notes. The finish is a battle between the acidity and the high alcohol (15.5) from the big Grenache styled vintage.

February 24, 2015 - White pepper spices and slightly cooked fruit on the nose. Secondary aromas of mocha and chocolate. Juicy palate with a warming, generous amount of alcohol and a ripe texture. Flavours of blueberry, blackcurrant and spices which lasts on throughout the finish.

(Clos des Brusquières Châteauneuf-du-Pape) Very dark ruby color; appealing, garrigue, light pepper, licorice nose; tasty, classic, garrigue, light pepper, licorice, dried berry palate; needs 2 years and should go 20-25; medium-plus finish (80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre, 5% Cinsault)
