  October 2, 2016 - Deep, blood red; meaty, wiry, hot tar, black fruits; punchy, dense, plenty of tannin, though manages to provide a fresh feel; 'warm' finish. Very long. Whilst this can be drunk now with substantial food, best left alone for a while. Potential to improve.

  May 1, 2013 - Same story, this wine is traditionally made, enduring a long fermentation and no destemming. Mostly made out of Grenache, the rest of Syrah and Cinsault, this Gigondas is more outgoing than its Vacqueyras counterpart. A strong entry-level, classical, effort, this Gigondas ranks well in the appellation for their 2011. 87 points
