January 2, 2015 - Like the body and flavor from this offering, for the money (abt. $15). 50% Mourvedre, 50% Syrah. Smooth and plum-like flavor. Easy drinking.

November 8, 2014 - Hour decant, the nose was noticeably missing the grenache from the typical Rhone blend, the mourvedre was much more pronounced than the syrah but the palate reflected the syrah in a more direct manner. Reasonable QPR, I will still lean towards getting some G (grenache) and even some C (Cinsault) in the mix for a more complex wine.

October 5, 2014 - Well! This was purchased at the Cave in early summer and tasting it again has taken me right back there with our tasting conducted by the winemaker himself. This red was, in our opinion. the star of the range and tonight's opening confirms that. Fruit driven, wonderful notes of blackberry on nose and mouth, but with well integrated tannins and a nice core acidity. Will be ordering more of this - and their amazing Clairette..........

December 28, 2013 - Dark cherries and dark forest fruits in the bouquet. On the palate a good concentration with dark cherries and some herbs and spices. Not really complex, but certainly an ok wine with a good length.

December 21, 2013 - Blind tasting. Decanted one hour. Nose saturated of chemical red fizzy soda. Blackcurrant, raspberry. No ideas of any grape type at this stage. Suspicious of non-indigenous yeast. Mouth exuberant of those flavours with residual sweat, low acidity and soft tannins. No relation to Mourvèdre, neither Syrah. No flaw. A vulgar wine. Supermarket style.
