January 22, 2022 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Double blind. Currant, kirsch and licorice notes. A bit tannic. Dark fruit with a hint of chocolate. Finishes with nice length. A very nice wine but a bit odd as nothing stands out and I’m left without a guess.

June 10, 2020 - Overnight airtime in 250ml glass container. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of smelly dirty animal (good way), fresh red cherries, earth, Provencal herbs, garrigue. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (15% carried well, doesn't feel like it), medium+ tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet dark red plums, fresh red cherries, garrigue, earth, Provencal herbs and warm spices, leathery animal meat overarching. Long finish.
Very good quality. Rather classic tasting, with the added touch of brett. Time to drink and enjoy. Did well in this off-vintage. Could have played to its advantage.
    80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 6% Mourvèdre, 3% Cinsault, 1% other varieties.

February 8, 2020 - Not certain, but I think this was a double entry. In any event, I can’t locate either bottle

January 13, 2020 - Drinks very well right now. I'd drink up by 2021 at the latest if I had more left. Overall, light enough, with some fresh strawberry notes.

December 28, 2019 - Huge improvement from tasting this wine over 2 years ago and with room to improve further. Still some slightly bitter tannins on the back end to resolve. Nose is the standout at this point. Give it another year or two.
