September 17, 2008 - Opened this bottle with no expectations. It's haziness didn't brighten my view. Still it was a bright brick color with light amber rim. Then came the nose, strong and distinguished. First cedar, then leather, hyacynth and cherry. Finally some faint gunpowder and wintergreen. Taste was elegant. Sweetness balanced with the right amount of acidity. This wine was ready! Sometimes you just happen to be at the right place at the right time.
