September 2, 2016 - Solid wine, but not necessarily remarkable, fantastic QPR at $14 US dollars. Juicy red and black fruits gained weight with air and the wine had some other spicy and licorice notes mixed in too. Finish was medium long and pleasantly dry, went well with hickory smoked chicken. Wine is at peak, drink now or over next couple of years, no need to hold any longer. Purchased about 4 years ago and stored in temp controlled cellar.

January 7, 2014 - Initial nose doesn't yield much. After about 30 min. decent, the nose opens to a floral aroma and bright red fruit profile. Sour cherry and Bing cherry are immediate on the palate. Secondary notes of mineral and lightly smoked meat. Medium finish. Not overly complex, but not thin either. A nice smooth, mid-weight wine from Montsant. This has an outstanding QPR. I will be buying more. Highly recommended.
