January 31, 2011 - Found this in the back of the wine cabinet last night. Didn't take detailed notes but this but was pleasantly suprised. Nicely resolved, very enjoyable with a steak. No green elements, which I recall from an earlier bottle.

January 26, 2007 - Deep purple, is this syrah? Alcohol very noticeable. Deep fruit buried beneath tannins. Did not improve with time.

March 18, 2005 - Very disappointing. Very dense ruby red, but a strong waft of alcohol. The taste matched this exactly. You could sense very extracted fruit, deep, almost Syrah-like, but the finish is very hot. Even with some time in a decanter, the heat never completed dissapated.
