May 16, 2011 - Showing very well - BF sprtiz has largely faded, a plus for me. Very light color, medium body. A little plum/cherry, but I wouldn't call this wine fruity.

May 15, 2011 - Wordwide Pinots Blind plus a few more (Levain (Mpls)): Medium light red color. Cherries and raspberries on the nose, a bit of alcohol. The palate is rather light, tannins fully resolved, raspberry and cherry. Nice, but may be past peak, I would drink up.

August 8, 2010 - Heavy reduction at first that blew off. This is one of my favorite sites from my favorite producer. This bottle had dusty tannin, tightly wound and had a very strong core of tart black cherry. Big acidic burgundian character that could soften with time. Not a lot on the finish, will cork and check later.

May 7, 2008 - This wine is now three years older and it has matured nicely. The fruit now has some black fruit and fig on the palate but is still not fully balanced. It was a beautiful mouthful of Pinot.

August 15, 2005 - The nose of this wine is full of tart red berries with a sweet, plummy perfume with some oriental spice. The taste still has plenty of acid and tannin. The fruit is mostly red, unripened berries, cherries and plums. However, there is some ripe plum in the background of the taste. This wine will continue to improve for at least seven to ten years.
