Fine Rieslings Night
Poured from Magnum.
Elegant aromas of flowers, bee wax. Noticeable saline minerality. Balanced medium (+) acidity. Good and classic example of Alsace Riesling.
Single vineyard wine from Kessler which is among 51 Grand cru vineyards of Alsace.
Domaines Schlumberger is the largest land holder with 135 ha vineyards. -

January 14, 2018 - Nice, austere Riesling. A bit unidimensional at the moment. This should age well. I found it quite dry compared to the several other Alsatians we had this evening.

August 8, 2017 - beautiful riesling: pale yellow, translucid, very mineral and fruity on the nose, with hints of wild honey. Very nice acidity and mineral flavors that linger on the palate. It will be fun to drink this in a few more years. Drink or hold.
