  June 28, 2020 - still alive after all these years!
  
  -smokey and semi-fruit nose
  -medium weight - lost a little but still nice
  -finish a bit thin, but sweet and long.

  December 7, 2019 - I decanted it two hours before serving. It was wonderful; the tannins had calmed down and it was nicely balanced. It probably is not going to get better, so I will serve the other bottles from the case for Christmas.

  July 6, 2012 - this bottle was shared by Dom at a central jersey CT offline dinner held at Pairings Restaurant. see his note from 7/6. i too, found the wine to be shy but with indications that it might improve with further aeration. wish i had the opportunity to see the wine at its best.

  July 6, 2012 - Opened and decanted for about 30 minutes at the restaurant. Youthful looking wine -- blood red but not purplish black color. Wasn't giving much on the nose or palate for that matter. It was rather tight. Juiicy, red plums with integrated tannins. 88 pts.
  
  Drank the remaining bottle the following day, and the wine showed what I've had in the past. Milk chocolate, wet earth, and some floral notes on the nose and chocolate covered cherries on the palate.
