July 29, 2015 - Tuesday Summer Dinner with Friends (Zurich, Switzerland): Tasted blind: Dark red in color. Nose shows coffee, dark fruit and plums. Good balance but lacking depth, still a solid wine from a difficult vintage. Drink now

January 17, 2015 - Still going strong, though this bottle was definitely than the other one that I purchased at the same time.
Decanted for about an hour and then drank with excellent steaks at a local establishment. Very smooth tannins, but I guess 15 years in the bottle will do that. Plenty of fruit on the palate - blackberry, cherry, raisins. Sorry not to have more. -

September 14, 2013 - Bouteille parfaite. Bouchon collé et très friable, passage en carafe obligatoire. Couleur prune assez mate. Nez sur la compte de fruits, le pain d'épices. Bouche ronde et agréable, pas vraiment complexe, de constitution moyenne, pas molle mais manquant de trame acide. Les années passées en bouteille lui ont enlevé beaucoup d'alcool, c'est pourquoi j'aime les cabernets californiens plus vieux, ils sont plus digestes! Tiendra encore 5 ans sans autre. Un peu cher toutefois.

December 29, 2010 - Brought this bottle to a family event at a Philly BYOB. Second to be opened after a nice (88) Menage a Trois, the last of a 6-pack, was better than ever. A pure, consentrated fruit with sweeter tannins and hardly noticeable wood. I should have had another 6. A great cab.
