  December 11, 2021 - Actually quite like this. A touch too much heat as others noted particularly on the after palate, but surprisingly fruity, young and sprightly.

  March 11, 2015 - A private tasting (Restaurant Merkelbach, Amsterdam, NL): Light colour. Dusty, maderised nose, deathly; thin and acidic palate, drying tannins, light finish but good length. Over the hill.

  January 24, 2015 - Vintage Port 1985 - 30 year Retrospective Tasting over 2 days; 1/24/2015-1/25/2015 (Issaquah, WA): #1 of the second flight. Good color, caramel, alcohol, so far the most heat of any of the ports tasted.
  Grp notes: woody, musty, hazelnut skin, bitter, the most suspected glassware discrepancy.
