September 17, 2021 - Bright golden color. Candied lemon rind followed by wet stones and some oak. Palate has good weight and adds some toasted nuts to the flavor mix. The acidity has resolved with the fruit but still carries a lengthy finish showing some white floral qualities. Great bottle for its age.

October 22, 2018 - I guess that I held onto this for too long. It had lost its elegance and richness and was flat and un-interesting. Premox? Disappointing

    August 29, 2015 - Elegant, mineral, classic.

March 25, 2015 - BM-BM themed dinner (Imperial Treasure SPD, Paragon): Served blind in the same flight alongside the '99 Ramonet, this came across as more developed/advanced (colour, nose & taste) than its flight-mate. Deep-gold, this had a similar oxidative/nutty nose with lots of chrysanthemums like the prior Krug. Yellow-fruited on the palate, this was broad, had good minerality and weight/fat. Not as elegant as the Ramonet though; Nonetheless, drinking well...
