  February 23, 2014 - The wine looks crimson colored. It smells like red currant and prune. It tastes like prune. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. Very Light for a Zin not what I was expecting has not structure.

  January 24, 2014 - Sigh. I am trying to go through all my newer Cosentinos as quickly was possible since it just makes me so sad. The winery used to be near the top of my list of favorites. Since the winery was bought out, however, it has slipped into mediocrity. This wine is the perfect example--the wine is fine, but exceedingly boring. None of the smoky character of the Cigar Zins of old. Double sigh. thedrunkencyclist.com
