February 4, 2017 - Floral nose, bed of roses; red peppers, stawberry hidden in the back. A sticky wine that hits with the fruit right up front, but quickly fades away and lets the traditional spiciness that is so familiar with WA Syrah.

December 9, 2014 - The wine has a wonderful Rhone nose and palate. I think it is still going strong and has more years to age. It is still a little tannic but not overwhelming.

(Lawrelin Syrah Columbia Valley) Lightly aromatic with coffee bean, vanilla, medicinal notes, mushroom, cherry, and tertiary notes. The palate is succulent and rich with cherry flavors on a long, persistent, detailed finish. Drink now or hold for the next three years. 100% Syrah. Kiona Vineyard. Aged American oak (100% new). 14.3% alcohol. 19 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
