February 4, 2017 - Floral nose, bed of roses; red peppers, stawberry hidden in the back. A sticky wine that hits with the fruit right up front, but quickly fades away and lets the traditional spiciness that is so familiar with WA Syrah.

December 9, 2014 - The wine has a wonderful Rhone nose and palate. I think it is still going strong and has more years to age. It is still a little tannic but not overwhelming.

The palate is succulent and rich with cherry flavors on a long, persistent, detailed finish. Drink now or hold for the next three years. 100% Syrah. Kiona Vineyard. Aged American oak (100% new). 14.3% alcohol. 19 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
