September 2, 2023 - Didn’t love the nose, but classic prequels body. Really like these with some age on them, rounds out those rough tannins. Good drinking with good pizza. Earthy and enjoyable.

August 7, 2022 - Fading and on decline. We get some soft juice with that distinct floral decay from Spanish wines, coupled with vanilla. The structure here is all from the acidity now and the wines should be enjoyed soon. DRINK

July 23, 2022 - this bottle aged very well; still very enjoyable and elegant
dark berries with notes of various herbs
    long lasting

June 20, 2020 - It was hard to depart from this bottle as it was signed by Alejandro's Fernandez daughter at a tasting. The wine shows signs of bricking, but yet it is whole, clearly it has reached maturity. On the nose there is wood, spices and a hint of must.

On the palate the fruit has mellowed, with the first note being spices which I believe are from the wood, the body is light, yet it shows structure. It has a long finish with notes of tobacco leaf.

This wine is reaching the end of a drinking window, yet waiting this long it felt like taking classic sport car for spin, all the elements are there just in a old fashion way.

December 8, 2018 - Dark ruby with slight bricking. Buttered popcorn, dark cherry, cedar, mushrooms and caramel on the nose. Mushrooms, dark cherry, oak, pepper, and cola on the palate. Between medium to full body.

(Bodegas Alejandro Fernández Ribera del Duero Tinto Pesquera) Very dark ruby red color; nice berry, blackberry, oak spice nose; tasty, smooth, rich, plush, new oak, berry, ripe blackberry palate with medium-minus acidity and sweet tannins; medium-plus finish; ready to drink now but possesses the body and structure to age for 4-6 years
