September 28, 2014 - New Zealand Wines-Mostly Oyster Bay (SF Wine Trading Company): Yellow. More floral and less fruity than the Oyster Bay. Bigger, oilier style. Fruit downplayed, lots of dill and green herbs. Tart finish.

July 29, 2014 - Very nice summer wine. Light gold colored with medium legs. No sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and apple. It tastes like a tart pineapple first and finishes with lemon. The body is light and it has a bright texture. The wine finishes long with a medium acidity.

August 18, 2013 - Wanted to compare the Spitfire with the Kim Crawford Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - very earthy. Didn't have any of the bright citrus flavours of the less expensive KC. Disappointed.
