June 2, 2021 - Dark purple garnet color turning violet at the rim with a reflective edge. The nose is dense with ripe black and blue fruit that jump out of the glass on relatively high octane accompanied by notes of vanilla and clove. The palate full-bodied, aptly-structured and creamy in texture with medium acidity to balance the ripe blueberry, raspberry, and black olives whilst maintaining enough pitch as it introduces secondary flavors of glowing alder, graphite and cola all the way through the long, refined finish. This is drinking at its peak and would stay this fresh until 2026.

December 8, 2014 - Aroma: cedar/black pepper, vanilla, hazelnut, blackberry/black currant jam plus blueberry and red berries.
Palate: Full-bodied, yet elegant.
Flavor: Vanilla, pepper, blueberry, blackberry, black currant. Long concentrated dk berry and roasted coffee bean finish.
Comment: Power with finesse. Smooth tannins from start to finish. Refined with no rough edges. Outstanding. Only 4700 bottles made.
