April 22, 2017 - Sometimes I find wines from valpolicella have too much of that green almond biterness. This wine had that showing typicity but it was a layer vs a distraction. Nice fruit, great acidity and mid palate. Great value option to amarone

July 22, 2015 - Here is a wine that deftly balances notes of rich dried fruit, fragrant earth and exotic spices. The texture is medium to full and there is a solid but fine tannins that will make this a versatile red at the dinner table.
