May 5, 2013 - The nose is full of berries. This one is drinking easy right now although it does need a little time to open up.

March 7, 2013 - Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Nose: There are nice aromatic tones of chalk, rhubarb, herbs, and red cherries. The tones are more hi-toned with solid depth.

Taste: Medium bodied with tart medium/high acidity and some good tannins. The tones of herbs, red cherries, rhubarb, and spice tones are well balanced with decent depth.

Overall: This is a very good pinot. It could use a couple of years to sort itself out, but is pretty accessible right now.
