  September 25, 2013 - We poured the wine into a decanter, served the first glass immediately, and finished the bottle over a period of about three hours. The wine was dark purple in colour and offered cherry, blackberry, plum, some vegetal notes, green tomato, vanilla and graphite on the nose. On the palate the wine showed red fruit, cherry, blackberry, plum, green tomato, graphite, some chocolate, spices, black pepper and a hint of liquorice, paired with medium to medium-plus acidity and medium-plus ripe, round, well-integrated tannin. The medium- to full-bodied wine was balanced, had a good, slightly creamy mouthfeel and very good length. A very good, well-made Malbec with good depth and complexity. I would recommend decanting for one hour. 89+
