January 25, 2016 - A little sweet on the opening. After a hour or so it turned into a nice every day Pinot. I would buy this again.

August 12, 2015 - August 2015 update: Still quite good, but too sweet, with pronounced notes of raspberry, cherry, and cranberry, along with earth, beet, and black pepper underlying the fruit. Quite clean and zesty, a simple but satisfying pleasure.

August 2014: A fairly light-coloured Pinot that, in some fundamental ways, is exactly what a good, solid Pinot (particularly from New Zealand) is meant to be, with perky aromas and flavours of sour cherry and raspberry backed up by pronounced earthy, spicy notes; juicy at first, with good tannic weight and a nice finish; nothing spectacular, but admirably balanced.

July 2, 2015 - Fairly good marlborough pinot, cherry, dark fruits with cinnamon and spice, good balance and depth of flavour for a pinot at this price(bought on offer for $15)

October 3, 2014 - Not very typical of Pinot - none of the berries or earthiness I expect. But it drinks nicely and is ready now.

June 8, 2014 - Classy wine. You cannot do much better for a Pinot around 20-22 dollars. Typical profile, with cherry and beetroot upfront, silky mouthfeel. Recommended.
