November 25, 2023 - Dark with a black core, the nose shows some prune and wild berry scents, softened out, smooth, flavors of plum sauce, raisins, black cherry and stone, tasty, had with pizza, drink up

November 3, 2023 - First, be careful with the cork! This one shredded big time! However once the wine was strained it was fine. Rich, but certainly mellowed with age. Drink now!

September 24, 2022 - Earthy dark fruit, spicy, leather notes, good balance between oak and fruit. Still plenty of life left.

January 6, 2021 - This is still really great. Complex, interlaced flavors on the palate. Still get a great interplay between fruit (cherry, blueberry), acid, and a background but yet firm tannin. The front gives way surprisingly steeply to a middle and finish that feel like a fall-off, but they're still there. It's like someone muted a stereo vs turning the dial. All the notes are there, just very soft.

October 21, 2020 - Spanish Tasting (Bistro Cocotte, Haberfield): Dense, black and red berry fruit, plenty of sweet spice, a little green herbaceousness, earthy notes, slight alcohol warmth. Medium plus intensity acidity, cherry, slight green tannins, a little vanilla, alcohol warmth, big, boisterous straying to a little porty, cream, slight vanilla. Beastly.
