August 28, 2016 - Open an hour before serving, then consumed over 2+ hours. Woodsy spice and cross-section of cherry aromas that I like, but clearly tells me this wine will be firm and hardy. So no surprise when this comes across as rugged and firm. While I like the flavors, it just never softened over the course of several hours. Will it improve with bottle age? Maybe, but I'm not confident.
