April 23, 2022 - First bottle in three years. Decanted 2 hours. Showing better than the last time with dark berries, cassis, olive, cedar and graphite easy to find. Medium bodied and maybe a little bit simple, this went well with grilled beef.

June 26, 2018 - From 750 vacuumed in fridge for 3 days. Wine has picked up a noticeable olive scent in addition to the dark fruits, berries, and cassis. On the palate, wine has added some green pepper, a herbal element, and even a slight medicinal note that is not unpleasant. Has softened a little more, and perhaps lost a little fruit, but still a nice and easy weekday cali cab.

June 24, 2018 - From 750, half in decanter and the rest in the fridge under vacuum. Decanted for 3 hours prior to consuming. Deep dark red, the wine smells of cassis, black cherry, plum, forest floor, and a little oak. Palate matches the nose, although fruit is sweeter than suspected. Medium body, acid and tannins, with a long finish. Very good weekday Cab. J liked this more than I, but we both enjoyed it. Second bottle from case purchased on release.

September 22, 2017 - ruby, medium body, mild earthy aromas, mild dark, faded fruit taste with emergent tobacco and touch of green pepper, modest finish and complexity; 87 first hour; 89 second, a little disappointing for price
