October 14, 2018 - Similar impressions. Dark garnet, amber edges; peppery, berry, ripe grape, cranberry nose; mid-body; good fruit; long hot (14.5 alc.) chewy finish. w/BBQ, burgers, pasta.

November 1, 2016 - This seems to be getting better. Nice dark fruits on the nose, some bramble, good acidity and mineralogy. Punching way above its weight.
