July 13, 2014 - Big citrus, smoke and slight sulphur on the nose and palate. Powerful, not a lot of refinement.

May 17, 2014 - HDH Auction Notes (Tru - Chicago, IL): Leroux = power. This had a real chutzpah to it. Dense lemon and smokey flint notes on the nose with great structure on the palate. I'm excited to some day try these Leroux wines with some age...they're impressive in their youth.

May 17, 2014 - HDH Burgundy Auction (TRU): Nose is fairly reserved, but the palate is rich and concentrated with notes of citrus, vanilla and a tinge of oak; Needs some time to settle, but lots of potential here

May 17, 2014 - HDH Burgundy Auction (Chicago, IL): Initially I thought this was a bit closed, but opening up, I get a lot of tropic fruit and coconut. This is a wine of gigantic proportions with lots of fruit and acidity.
