September 24, 2023 - Still tasting great !! I agree with my notes of the past few months, at peak !!
Nearly prefect cork after a dozen years, easily removed. I consumed this delicious, well aged Pinot Noir over two days. Ruby color with modest oxidation, clarity was good. Aromas of pomegranate, cranberry, and rose hips; flavors of cherry, red fruit compote, rhubarb, and forest floor with a medium to long mineral finish. This is an elegant and age worthy wine that has more life remaining. I still have one bottle of this vintage remaining; I may open it later this year to verify my tasting note.

July 25, 2023 - I agree with my tasting note of just over three weeks ago; delicious and at peak !! This wine has really found a great spot and is tasting great right now !!
The cork was perfect after over a decade in the bottle. I consumed this delicious, well aged Pinot Noir over two days time. Ruby color with modest oxidation, clarity was good. Aromas of pomegranate, cranberry, and rose hips; flavors of bing cherry, red fruit compote, rhubarb, and forest floor with a medium to long mineral finish. This wine really opened up to a soft beauty on day two. Sun Chase Vineyard is located on a southwest facing hillside between 900’ and 1400’ feet at the confluence of the Petaluma Gap and Sonoma Mountain in the Sonoma Coast appellation. The steep, well draining soils of this vineyard are planted to 777, 828, and 667 clones. A great fruit source and a good winemaking effort to make a beautiful Pinot Noir. This is an elegant age worthy wine and has more life left. I still have two bottles of this vintage remaining; I may open another one later this year to verify my tasting note.

December 20, 2021 - Drinking very well! Likely has another 1-3 years at peak.

June 23, 2020 - This is a big Pinot. Ripe cherry, bold spices, long sweet tannin finish. Unmistakably Sonoma Coast. The age on this bottle is very nice.
