December 23, 2023 - This is just beyond its peak and on a downhill trajectory. Still very drinkable but the finish is now muted and the Zin vibrancy of dark fruit and a hint of spice and peppery finish no longer pronounced. Okay to drink, particularly with good.

December 19, 2022 - PnP. First night it was disappointing. Tight; astringent. Got a different wine, which also wasn’t as good as I expected. (Could have been me; had just flown back from New Zealand.) Second night it was wonderful. Rich; smooth; complex. I have one more bottle. I’m looking forward to see if it is the same.

December 30, 2020 - You would think this a standard bottling... but way better... incredible response to aging... dark chocolate... a bit of cola... not too heavily extracted.

August 18, 2020 - Leftover night....Opened and poured - smells zinny and humjid - dark purple to deep red. On the nose some bramble, deep blacks and reds, and humidity. Full bodied, the palate reveals more red tinged fruits, with bright acidity and raspberry/cherry notes, vs. the deep brooding lagoon of blacks. Solid Carlisle.
