November 12, 2018 - I really like this husband and wife producer and think this bottle, while still interesting, is not up to some of their other offerings. Displays a medium to light pale yellow, a bit of a surprise given the age. As you might expect in a cool vintage, there is a slight abundance of acidity that dominates the notes of pineapple, toasted nuts and some of the minerality that the older reviews mention. Medium finish with average integration. I drank this over three days and it modestly improved each time, a good sign. The restrained use of oak was a positive here as well. I'd characterize this is a good bottle in a tricky year.

April 23, 2017 - Monthly Tasting Group: Worldwide Chardonnay with Blast of Chablis (Oceanaire, Mpls, MN): Didn't take any notes on this. I'll refer you to Bellissimo's accurate note on this. 90+pts.

April 23, 2017 - Been almost 3 years since we had our other bottle. Nose was pretty tight giving just some crushed rocks. On the palate zippy lemon, hints of tropical and stone fruit. After a whole lot of Chablis it was a different profile but no way was this a big oaky one, just a more fruit driven wine. Drinking well but lacking on the nose at this time.

September 28, 2013 - Notes of lemon nose. Lemon, pear and stone mineral palate with just a touch of vanilla and butter. New world but restrained. Big bright acidity from a cool vintage (only ~12% etoh). Eminently drinkable. Medium bodied, but crisp and structured. Unfiltered, but I assume given the structure and acidity it can certainly age.

July 21, 2013 - Stoney honeysuckle and white flower on the nose. Red apple, lemon, some stone fruit on the palate. Plenty zippiness with just a sense of oak. Will continue to drink well over the next couple of years.
